Friday, May 17 - WORKSHOP: Ending Child Marriage:A Human Rights Violation - 9:00 am CDT 17 May, 9:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time Globally, 21% of girls are married while they are still children, robbing them of their childhood. In the last decade, about 25 million child marriages have been prevented; however, ongoing and overlapping crises create risky conditions for girls through interrupted education and income shocks caused by public health crises, protracted conflict or natural disasters. Learn more about child marriage globally and how you can take action internationally, nationally and locally to help end this human rights violation for the millions of girls at risk globally.

Delegates Orientation Sunday, May 21 - Delegates Orientation Session One - 9:00 am CDT This is the essential session for all delegates and alternates, governors and past international presidents to attend to learn about their responsibilities during Convention. This session will review: o Fundamentals of the delegate handbook. o On-site check in process for a delegate or proxy. o Responsibilities when carrying a proxy vote. o Details on elections and the SimplyVoting platform. o Details on voting for convention business (including bylaws) and the handheld voting devices. o An opportunity to ask questions of the elections and credentialing committees.

Awareness of the diversity of gender identities and how we can include non-binary individuals ZOOM LINK: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/9885320014?omn=84921926933 Harvey Feldman (he/him) LCMHC is a licensed therapist in the state of New Hampshire (#2128). He holds a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Goddard College (Plainfield, Vermont) with a focus on clinical issues of gender and sexuality, as well as a Master’s degree in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an undergraduate degree from Smith College. He is a founding member of The Gender Diverse Care Coalition of New Hampshire, as well as a member of the Dartmouth Health’s Transgender Health Community Advisory Board.

Tuesday, May 23 - WORKSHOP: WOW Membership Actions: Strategies for Growth - 5:00 pm CDT Thursday, 23 May, 5:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time Certain techniques and intentional actions increase and retain membership. The purpose of this workshop is to provide attendees with a fun, interactive program designed to impart insights and actionable ideas to take back to their clubs. Attendees will leave more confident, intentional and effective in their efforts to invite and retain members.

This unique workshop aims to bring together individual Zontians from diverse backgrounds and regions to directly share their personal experiences, stories and insights about the impact of climate change on people and the pursuit of equality and justice. By amplifying global voices, we will collectively deepen our understanding, foster empathy, and inspire collaborative action to address these interconnected challenges.
